The main concept of this project is to increase the wastewater treatment of ABC plant to 5.5 m³/s and to clean the Tietê River of São Paulo City.

SABESP has started a program that has the objective to revitalize one of the main rivers that cross São Paulo City where there live approximately 12 million inhabitants. The project compri-ses the capacity expansion of several wastewater treatment plants, wastewater collection and transport in the Alto Tietê river basin.

Via its Brazilian subsidiary FKB, bob综合体育官网下载 supplied to the important project 101 pieces of AISI 304L Stainless Steel Penstocks and Stop Logs, with several dimensions including even special sizes of 2500x2500mm and 2000x2000mm. More than 45 tons of high-quality stainless-steel products were finally shipped to the customer. Also on board more than 60 items were equipped with local electric actuators. A further specialty were very large sized Stop-Logs of 3000x5540mm and 2230x9325mm with lift device, designed with rubber sealing on 3 sides and no frame.

It was successfully operated and 100% leak-tight to block the channel and start the civil works of the construction
for the existing waste¬water treatment plant.
